Burrell Foley Fischer has designed prototype residential units which are part of the new masterplan for the Aylesbury Estate. The masterplan developed by Urban Initiatives (UI), where John Burrell is a Consultant Director, for the London Borough of Southwark is part of the Area Action Plan. 

The 130 new-build units include affordable flats, houses for rent, intermediate units and units for private sale. They form a perimeter block of three, six and nine storeys with rear gardens and new typologies to include cycle parking, recycling, communal space and secure living spaces facing a ‘green’ boulevard with secure, shared play areas and cycling routes.
