Francesca joined Burrell Foley Fischer Architects in July 2024 as an Architect and is currently working on a range of education projects. She completed her RIBA Part 3 at Greenwich University in May 2024 with distinction. Her portfolio spans multiple sectors, including education, hotel and leisure, heritage, and residential (high-rise and prefabrication). She has contributed to large, complex, and multiphase developments, including those in sensitive and protected contexts such as listed buildings, Special Areas of Conservation, and Sites of Special Scientific Interest.
Francesca’s commitment to sustainable and high-quality design is evident in her involvement with BREEAM-certified projects, including one that achieved a Very Good rating in a Green Belt location. She has also successfully coordinated projects ranging in value from £500k to £100 million, including high-profile schemes in Dulwich Estate, Westminster, Dagenham, and Windsor. Francesca has a strong foundation in heritage conservation, gained through her work on listed buildings and hands-on experience with traditional techniques. As a Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings volunteer at Boxley Abbey, she contributed to the restoration of historic structures.
Her achievements include winning the Design Engine Architect’s Prize (2021), being nominated for the Jonathan Spiers Lighting Scholarship (2021), and reaching the finals of the European Architecture Student’s Assembly Competition (2020).
