George Johnson

BA(Hons) PGDipArch ARB

George joined Burrell Foley Fischer in 2018 after completing his Part 1 with first-class honours from Brighton University. He went on to complete his Part 2 at the London School of Architecture with Distinction, and his Part 3 at the Architectural Association.

Since joining BFF, he has led the Union Chapel’s Grade II* listed Sunday School project and the Grade I listed Sinfonia Smith Square scheme, and worked as part of the wider team on the Grade I listed York Guildhall. George is passionate about sustainable and low-carbon design and is an active member of ACAN. He has also worked on humanitarian construction projects in Türkiye and Ukraine, focused on resilient, community-based architecture.
