Architectural Assistant

 

George joined Burrell Foley Fischer in 2018 as an architectural assistant following his first-class degree at Brighton University.  He continues to work with the practice part-time while he undertakes his Part 2 qualification at the London School of Architecture.

During his study at Brighton, George spent 6 months on the Erasmus programme in Brno in the Czech Republic where he was nominated for the Bohuslav Fuchs award.  He was also nominated for the RIBA South East award.

George previously worked for an interior architecture practice specialising in retail design. At BFF he has been involved across a range of sectors.  He is passionate about environmental and sustainable architecture and is currently working on historic building projects, including the Grade II* listed Sunday School at the Union Chapel in Islington, Alexandra Palace and the Grade I listed Guildhall in York.
