Nick Parker

Nick joined Burrell Foley Fischer in November 2020 and has been actively involved in various heritage, commercial and residential projects.

Prior to joining Nick completed the MArch Architecture with Collaborative Practice Research Part 2 studies at the University of Nottingham where he has developed his interests in urban design, sustainability and working with complex sites of historic significance through his master's thesis project.

Alongside working on the Grade I listed York Guildhall complex and Dixon Clark Court, a residential complex located in the London Borough of Islington, Nick completed his Part 3 studies to become an Architect joining the register in July 2022.

Nick is continuing to develop his interests in heritage whilst working on Great Yarmouth’s Grade II* listed Winter Gardens, a cast iron Victorian glasshouse and is Project Architect for the Iron Duke, a refurbishment of a Grade II listed Art Deco pub also in Great Yarmouth. Additionally, Nick is currently undertaking the AECB’s CarbonLite Retrofit Foundation course to advance his knowledge of sustainability and working with heritage.

Nick is also assisting the leadership with the implementation of Building Regulations Principal Designer procedures and standards within the practice after completing the RIBA’s Principal Designer Course (CDM & BR) in Autumn 2024, contributing to the overall competency of Burrell Foley Fischer to deliver this role.
