Oscar von Claer

Oscar joined Burrell Foley Fischer in 2021 and is currently involved in heritage projects such as the reroofing and repairs to the Central Criminal Court, as well as the refurbishment of Sinfonia Smith Square in Westminster. Following a 1st class degree at Oxford Brookes, he worked in France and Germany and eventually graduated from a Public Architecture and Building Technology masters at TU Delft in 2020. Oscar’s thesis focused on providing social equality in architecture, and his proposal for permanent refugee infrastructure in Calais was selected by the university for further development and subsequently presented to the local authorities. He stayed involved in the studio as a teaching assistant for a year before joining Burrell Foley Fischer.
