Ruth Saxton

BA(Hons), DipArch, ARB

Ruth joined Burrell Foley Fischer in 2022. She trained at Newcastle University and the University of Brighton, completing her professional qualifications with a Distinction at London Metropolitan University in 2006. Her professional career has included work on a wide range of project types and scales, including luxury residential schemes, education buildings and leisure facilities. At her previous practice she led the interior elements of the UCL Student Centre, which has since won multiple awards including recognition of its sustainability features and popularity with users.

Since joining BFF her work has focussed mainly on conservation projects, including schools, churches and community buildings, where she carefully balances the preservation and celebration of historic fabric with accommodating new uses and improving environmental performance.
