Burrell Foley Fischer have received planning consent for the conversion of disused garages at the rear of Parkhurst Court off Holloway Road into a new mews of 7 two-storey courtyard houses for a private client.
The development will go on site in 2016.
The scheme backs onto one of four adjacent projects carried out for the London Borough of Islington to rationalise the Parkhurst Estate. The latest phase is being opened next week and transforms disused undercroft garages into 9 affordable family units and 9 family units for sale all with new street frontages to Parkhurst Road, replacing a blank enclosing wall.
Burrell Foley Fischer have completed over ten built projects for LB Islington resulting from BFF’s Estate Rationalistion studies and masterplans commissioned by LBI out over the past 6 years.
BFF are currently commissioned on four major Estate Rationalisation studies in the central and southern parts of the borough to make better use of the estate land to increase the quantity and quality of the amenity space and to also provide much needed additional housing units.
